RARE PAPAYA QUARTZ AMPHIBOLE LASER WAND MADAGASCAR 008

Take a look at this gorgeous, rare Papaya Quartz Amphibole Laser Wand from Madagascar. When held with light behind it, we can see a lovely, salmon-colored "phantom" which stems from the base almost to the tip. It is composed of layers of hydrated, double silicate minerals such as Hornblende and Asbestos, whose feathery wisps formed the phantom peaks within the crystal. It is interesting to note that these "amphiboles" (their geological name) were formed first at a much higher temperature than the outer crystal which formed much later at a much cooler temperature. This beautiful Papaya Quartz Laser Wand measures 2 3/4x5/8" tapering down to 5/16" and will make an awesome addition to your collection of rare members of the Crystal Clan.
