8ct LOUISIANA QUARTZITE BLACK OPAL SLICE GREAT TO WRAP
Take a look at this tantalizing polished slice of Louisiana Quartzite black Opal. This lovely, hand-cut and polished gemstone slice comes from the Hidden Fire Opal Mine, which has been closed these many years. What remains of this beautiful Opal is probably in the hands of private collectors, and we feel quite blessed to have run across this wonderful stone again and to be able to offer it at such a low price. This gorgeous slice measures 24x17x3mm. weighs 8ct. and will make a wonderful addition to your collection. This stone displays flashes purple, green, and gold on a black sandstone (quartzite). Photos do not do this stone justice....it is very hard to show the colors.
